Field notes: Samples were taken by mixed age groups of homeschool students. We took 2 samples on 2 different days of the same week. Since this was a lesson more focused on stream ecology, we did not do a thorough count but we identified most of the species to give us a good idea of stream health. In places where 20 were indicated, we did not finish a full count but 20+ of that macro were found.
