This project was conducted by the Lebanon High School Environmental Science class of 2013/14.  The objective was to complete a basic water assessment of the canal that supplies water from the South Santiam river to the water treatment plant and subsequently the towns water supply.   The canal was tested for pH, Turbidity, Nitrate, Phosphate, Fecal Coliform, and dissolved Oxygen.  A compartive study was made of tap water to compare and contrast. Further tests will be taken over the next year to look at seasonal changes.
